Brake Rotor Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Siphon two-thirds of the fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
4. Position the C-clamp around the outer pad and caliper. Tighten the clamp until the piston bottoms in its bore.

5. Remove the brake pads and the caliper (2) from the caliper carrier. Suspend the caliper with a wire (1) in order to prevent damage to the brake hose.

6. Remove the brake caliper bracket (3).
7. Remove two rotor screws.
8. Remove the rotor from the wheel hub. If the rotor cannot be removed by hand, install two 8 mm bolts into the rotor. Tightening the bolts will force the rotor off the wheel hub.
