Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove front of cowl shield.
2. Remove bulkhead connector screw and disconnect bulkhead connector.
3. Disconnect electrical connector from Electronic Spark Control module, then remove bracket retaining screws and the module.
4. Remove power steering pump bracket support bolts and the support.
5. Remove coil bracket nuts, disconnect high tension leads and electrical connectors from coil, remove wiring conduits and plug wire guides, and position coil aside.
6. Remove shields from blower motor harness, then disconnect cooling tube and electrical connector from blower motor.
7. Remove blower motor mounting screws and the blower motor.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
