As part of a special sales promotion, Range Rover of North America has mailed coupons to selected owners of 3.5 litre Range Rovers and certain competitive vehicles, offering free scheduled maintenance with the purchase of a 1990 Range Rover. Maintenance is covered through the warranty period. The program works as follows:
1) Customer presents coupon to sales person at time of purchase.
2) Sales person confirms that name and address on the back of the coupon is correct.
3) VIN of sold unit is marked next to the name, then the coupon is mailed in a postage-paid envelope marked "Free Maintenance Program" (supplied).
4) Upon receipt of the coupon, RRNA will enter the VIN into the DCS computer and mail a voucher sticker to the new owner.
5) Owner places sticker on the inside front cover of the Passport to Service (see example). Owner presents Passport to Service to your dealership service personnel for free scheduled maintenance. Use the special stamp ("1990 Free Maintenance Program") to verify completion of the service in the Passport to Service.
