Input Shaft Disassembly
INPUT SHAFTCOMPONENTS:
DISASSEMBLY
CAUTION: It is highly recommended not to disassemble input shaft assembly. If you have a problem with a part in the input shaft assembly, replace it with a new input shaft assembly. These procedures are just for reference.
1. Disassemble the snap ring (A).
2. Heat the 5th input gear (A) with a heat gun (B).
3. Using a press (A), separate the 5th input gear (B) and the front side taper roller bearing (C) at time.
4. Remove the spacer (D).
5. Remove the rear side snap ring (A).
6. Heating the 3rd/4th gear (A) with a heat gun, install the gear (A) and the rear side taper roller bearing (B) with a press (C).
