ABS Main Relay: Service and Repair

1. Disarm airbag system as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove left rear storage compartment cover.
4. On Coupe models, disconnect EBCM wiring harness electrical connector.
5. On Convertible models, proceed as follows:
a. Remove EBCM attaching nut.
b. Pull connector retaining clip to release front of connector.
c. Push retaining clip back down without relocking front of connector.
d. Push EBCM toward front of vehicle as possible.
e. Lift front front of connector to release connector rear.
6. On models equipped with Selective Ride Control, disconnect selective ride control module electrical connector.
7. On all models, disconnect wheel speed sensor electrical connectors.
8. On models equipped with Selective Ride Control, disconnect selective ride control actuator electrical connector.
9. On all models, disconnect body harness connector.
10. Remove modulator valve cover.
11. Disconnect modulator valve electrical connector.
12. Remove wiring harness, noting harness routing.
13. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Ensure all connectors are tight and fully seated.
b. Ensure EBCM connector retaining clip is locked.
c. Rearm airbag system as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
