1. Remove cover and shield from adjuster, then clip from cable and cover from adjuster, Fig. 43.

2. Using small flat-bladed tool, release lockab on cable assembly while sliding cable casing out of adjuster.

3. Remove beads of cable from slots in adjuster, then cable from cruise control module as follows:

a. Compress conduit tangs and pull out of module

b. Disconnect cable bead from cruise motor ribbon end fitting on module, Fig. 44.

4. Remove cable from accelerator pedal and body, then cable from vehicle.

5. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:

a Ribbon must not be twisted. Slide end filling over ribbon and install in module until tangs snap in place.

b. Adjust accelerator cable as out-lined (without V4U Coachbuilder Equipment Option).
